Eyes

On November 3rd the puppies eyes opened I was ecstatic, I watched them for hours. People came and left and the mother stayed calm sleeping with her puppies. About an hour later one of our friends came to pick us up and the mother dog jumps out and starts growling at him; he having been around dogs a lot makes a soft noise and the dog calmed down. Then when he started to open the gate the mother ran up and bit his leg...

As you all know I've been home for awhile but there are a few things i need to tell you! Sorry for the delay...

New obsession (sorry spider solitaire)

As you can p(r)obably guess I have are new obsession... The PUPPIES!!! so don't be surprised/ irritated when I make another post about them today.

Puppies update

So a few days ago i found the perfect view spot to get a good picture of the puppies i think they are more clear. The puppies are getting bigger and their snouts are getting more dog-like rather than pig like. Both puppies are male and the lighter colored one is a bit bigger. They both seem to be healthy and active. I think the mother really trusts us now because I've been feeding her every day. Today when I came out she came out of their little place — tail wagging— and walked right up to me and sad down (tail still wagging), so gave her some food, and for the first time ever she let me pet her gently on the head!!! She doesn't seem to mind at all when I stick my finger through the mesh and pet the puppies either. I think that she would let me hold them, except I can't because the gate won't open more than a few inches, so I can't fit my hand in. they are almost two weeks old now! I hope their eyes open before I leave...
